Nova Scotia ( new Scotland)

Tomorrow’s gonna be a brighter day . See the rainbow?

Left PEI on a ferry to Nova Scotia

All aboard

Everything from bicycles, motorcycles, cars, motorhomes and logging trucks. 75 minute ride with a very nice lounge and restaurant.

Once in Nova Scotia we headed to Breton Island to see the Alexander Graham Bell museum. Who knew? He was quite the dude. The telephone was the least of what he was interested in – it was almost an after thought as you’re leaving the museum. I just finished a book on the Wright Brothers and he was mentioned quite often. The Wrights were concerned he was stealing their tech. He is worth a dive into his history.

Found our brewery, oops I mean host for the evening. Very nice folks here. 3 others staying the night like us. There is an enclosed room (pictured above) with wood stove. Our hosts said when the brewery closed at 7 we could stay as long as we wanted. We just had to turn off the lights and the switch to the stove. They had board games and cards available.

Tomorrow the sun comes back and we start our 3 days on the Cabot trail.
