June 1 – Montague, PE, CAN

Well, we waited a few days, but the sun came out and warmed things up. Not hot, mind you, 50° ish. But still nice!
While I did laundry this morning Tom cut up California to add New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia to our travel map.

After laundry, we headed to Montague, where we had arrangements at a Harvest Host for the night. The drive to Montague was beautiful – farmlands, rolling hills, but unlike Wisconsin farmlands the bay was the backdrop for these farms. Gorgeous!
Our home for the night is Bogside Brewery. Well, their parking lot. The brewery has a nice vibe, with a restaurant and a ton of craft beers. For people who like those things. 🙄

The best part of this Harvest Host is the location, it’s right next to a marina and the Confederation Bike Path.

We were both anxious to get out in that sunshine and on our bikes. We took a 16 mile bike ride along the path.
After the ride I headed to the marina to do a little painting.

In the morning we’ll catch the Ferry in Wood Islands to Nova Scotia. Hope the weather holds out. 🤞
I like the map. Thank you for letting us know of all the travels.
The painting is beautiful! That definitely goes in the show.
