May 14, 2026 – Lebanon, ME
Well this has been one of the more interesting places to stay.

Unfortunately, it was VERY rainy when we arrived so we weren’t able to see anyone jumping. The cafe at the edge of the airfield won’t open until this weekend. Too bad, cause it would’ve been cool to sit and watch jumpers from their patio or on a chair lining the field.

Our host couldn’t have been nicer. We knew there was only one electric hookup (first come/first serve) when we registered for the site , but we were hopeful. As luck would have it, there was a converted bus already there and plugged in. (Turns out he has been there a while). Our host met us in the rain and got a giant extension cord to plug us into the same unit. Very nice of him! We were able to have a hot dinner and charge the battery again.

Rain hasn’t dampened our spirits though. As we reflected last night…
🎶 the rain in Maine stays mostly on the plane. ✈️
Very cute pics of sky diving. Funny twist on the “rain in Spain. . .” It looks like it is a good trip so far.
