May 24/25, 2026 – New Brunswick, Canada

We crossed the border into Canada yesterday afternoon around 1pm ADT (Atlantic Daylight Time). As you can see from the picture it was very busy. We were only asked a few questions and allowed to enter Canada no problem.

The welcome sign was a problem for me.

Our drive was beautiful, rolling hills, deep, lush valleys and great roads.

We’re staying at Canontown Campground in Fundy National Park. It’s a small campground. A short walk into town, which consists of a harbor, a handful of restaurants, a bar, a bakery, and some gift shops.

Road into town

The rain started Monday morning around 8:00. It was light so we decided to walk into town to have a look around.

Lobster traps
Docked boat at low tide.
The real reason for the walk. Home of the Sticky Bun.
Not deterred by the rain.

Park across from our campsite.

The rain has continued for 12 hrs. Just stopping now. Tom and I both finished books today (and sticky buns).

Tomorrow we’ll take a drive to see some sights. The forecast for tomorrow is better. 😎
